Diane's Cookie Exchange Class!
Learn a new way to use the Shutter Pull Die by Creek Bank Creations to create a card or mini album during this 1-hour class. The card contains four clear sleeves that can be used to share recipes or photos. This project also highlights the versatility of the new Creek Bank Creations Mason Jar Die as well as other new Christmas dies and stamps. Participants will gain experience stenciling and will receive printed instructions with photos. Examples of this card made for various occasions such as the arrival of a new baby card or a gift for a bridal party will also be available to view. Some card-making experience is helpful but not necessary. Just for fun: Bring a favorite Christmas cookie recipe to share--a sweet reminder of a great weekend! Four recipe cards may be printed on an 8.5" X 11" paper and cut apart to trade with others in the class.
You must bring to class: scissors, ruler, pencil, and a bone folder. A Pick Tool or craft tweezers are also handy for positioning small die cuts.
Diane Morris has been teaching paper crafting classes to children and adults for over thirty years. Art classes were her favorites in high school and college! She has since completed several art and craft classes and loves to learn new techniques using a variety of media. Diane has created many of the fun projects and cards you see displayed in the Creek Bank Creations Booth! Diane has published work in Plain and Simple Magazine, and in Hobby Lobby's publication Stamping, Stationary and Scrapbooking! Diane authors many of the instruction sheets put out by Creek Bank Creations so she not only creates she writes in way others understand! Diane and her husband have six children and eighteen grandchildren and live on a family farm in northwest Ohio. Besides paper crafting, Diane also enjoys playing the piano, gardening, sewing, and reading. She is inspired by knowing that what she teaches is passed on through cards and gifts that her students share with family and friends.
